“In the 90s, the TONI&GUY Mayfair salon was next door toVivienne Westwood. We created this editorial shoot with oneof Vivienne’s muses and lead runway models. Inspired by the18th-century French aristocracy, we crafted this dramatic lookwith elaborate curls and height. Bold and theatrical, it remainsone of my favourite looks.”
“I call this look ‘The Elissa’. It features the Transient Technique, one of the first things I think of when I think of TONI&GUY. Unique to our brand, it became an iconic technique that shaped hairdressing history and continues to inspire new creative possibilities. Its enduring relevance is a testament to great hair design.”
“I was honoured to be part of British Vogue’s 2006 “Best of British” special edition, which showcased the UK’s most influential designers, models, and hair talent on the world stage. It was a privilege to create the hair look featured on the front cover.”
One of my favourite TONI&GUY collections as Global Creative Director was the 2007 Kaizen Collection, inspired by Cubism and the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. Shot by Australian photographer Troit, it marked our evolution from hair into fashion and reflected my love of Japan.”
